This Privacy Policy describes how Desired.FX (“DFX,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares personal information when you visit or make a purchase from desired-fx.com (the “Site”). Desired.FX, operating from Jakarta, Indonesia, is the data controller of your personal data in connection with the Site. Please read this Privacy Policy carefully before using the Site.

1. Personal Information We Collect

When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device and browsing activity, including your web browser type, IP address, approximate location derived from your IP address, time zone, cookies installed on your device, the pages or products you view, what site or search term referred you to us, and how you interact with the Site. We refer to this as “Device Information.”

We also collect personal data you provide directly, depending on how you use the Site:

• Shop orders: name, email address, billing and shipping address, phone number, and payment information (processed by our payment provider — we do not store full card details ourselves).
• Country selection: the country you tell us you are ordering from, which determines the currency estimate and shipping information shown to you.
• DFX Points account: your points balance, purchase and redemption history, and, if you use a referral link, which account referred you.
• DFX Royalties submissions: your name, email, portfolio or social media link, a description of your design, and the design file itself (or notes about a physical mould you intend to send us).
• Custom Order and B2B quote requests: your contact details, project details, reference photos or moodboard files, measurements, destination address, and budget range.
• WhatsApp Monthly Catalogue: your name and WhatsApp number, if you opt in.
• WhatsApp and social media contact: if you message or tag us (for example on Instagram or WhatsApp), we may see your public username or phone number in order to respond to you.

2. Why We Process Your Data

We only process the minimum amount of personal data necessary to operate the Site, fulfill orders, and provide the specific features you choose to use. Depending on the feature, this includes:

• Fulfilling and shipping your order, and calculating an estimated shipping cost for your country.
• Operating the DFX Points program — tracking your balance and applying it as a discount when you choose to redeem it.
• Reviewing and, if approved, producing and selling DFX Royalties submissions, and tracking the royalty percentage owed to the submitting artist on each sale.
• Reviewing Custom Order and B2B quote requests and following up with a quote.
• Sending the WhatsApp Monthly Catalogue to customers who opt in, and responding to WhatsApp or social media messages.
• Identifying potential fraud or abuse (see Section 3 below) and maintaining statistical information about Site usage, such as page visits and traffic sources. Statistical data is not used in a way that identifies a specific individual.

You may browse the Site without providing any personal information. Certain features — placing an order, submitting a Royalties design, requesting a Custom Order or B2B quote, or joining the WhatsApp catalogue — require you to provide the information relevant to that feature. Choosing not to provide it may mean you cannot use that particular feature.

3. Country Verification and Fraud Prevention

Desired.FX offers a domestic price to customers ordering from Indonesia. When you select your country, we check the approximate location associated with your IP address against the country you selected, using a third-party IP-geolocation lookup. This is solely to identify possible misuse of the domestic pricing (for example, using a VPN to appear to be ordering from Indonesia when placing an international order). A mismatch does not automatically block your order or change your price — it flags the order for a staff member to review manually. We process this information on the basis of our legitimate interest in preventing pricing fraud, and it is not used for any other purpose.

4. WhatsApp and Social Media Communication

If you opt in to the WhatsApp Monthly Catalogue, or otherwise contact us via WhatsApp, we may send you product updates, catalogue announcements, order reminders, or respond to your enquiry. You can opt out at any time by replying “STOP” or contacting us directly. If you message or tag us on platforms such as Instagram, your username may be visible to us and used to respond to or engage with your message.

5. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell, rent, or lease your personal data to third parties. We share personal information only with trusted service providers, and only to the extent necessary to:

• Process payments;
• Ship your order;
• Provide customer support (for example, email or WhatsApp communication); or
• Operate the DFX Team Portal, our internal order-management system, so that staff can see and fulfill your order.

All service providers and internal systems we use are required to maintain the security and confidentiality of your data.

6. Your Rights

If you are a resident of the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with equivalent data protection rights, you have the right to be informed, the right of access, the right to rectification, the right to erasure, the right to restrict processing, the right to data portability, the right to object, and rights in relation to automated decision-making and profiling. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details in Section 10.

We process your information to fulfill contracts we have with you (such as order fulfillment or a DFX Royalties agreement), to comply with legal obligations, or to pursue our legitimate business interests (such as fraud prevention, described in Section 3).

7. International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to, processed, and stored outside your home country, including in Indonesia and the countries where our service providers operate. We take reasonable steps to ensure any third-party service providers we use meet appropriate privacy and security standards.

8. Data Security

We store your information on secure servers and maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your personal data. No method of internet transmission or electronic storage is completely secure, and by using the Site, you acknowledge this inherent risk.

9. Links to Other Websites

The Site may link to external websites not owned or controlled by us, including payment gateways, Instagram, and WhatsApp. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party sites and recommend reviewing their own privacy policies.
